Salma Murad, Wife Of Legendary Actor Waheed Murad, Dies In Karachi

Salma Murad, the wife of the iconic actor Waheed Murad, has passed away following an extended period of illness.

Mrs. Murad’s demise was attributed to natural causes, although she had been in poor health for several years. She is survived by her two children, son Adil Murad, and daughter Alia Murad.

The funeral prayer for Mrs. Murad is scheduled for today after the Asar prayer at Sultan Masjid in Karachi, with the burial taking place at Chandio Graveyard.

Salma’s passing occurred nearly four decades after her late husband’s death in the 1980s.

Condolences have been pouring in since her passing. Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and individuals from various walks of life have extended their condolences and sympathies to the grieving family.

Salma’s enduring contributions to the arts and culture were also acknowledged by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi.
