Sources indicate that the Pakistan Cricket Board’s selection committee proposed the vice-captaincy to Shaheen Afridi, but he has declined the position.
Currently, Babar Azam is the captain of Pakistan’s T20I team, and the PCB has yet to announce a vice-captain.
