The newly appointed Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Ali Nasir Rizvi, has issued an office directive requiring officers and employees at the agency’s headquarters to remain in the office until the DG leaves, unless they have prior permission to depart.

Ali Nasir Rizvi was appointed Director General of the NCCIA earlier this month.
Before taking charge of the cybercrime agency, Rizvi served as Inspector General of Islamabad Police. He assumed charge as the Islamabad police chief in April 2024 and oversaw policing, security and law-and-order matters in the federal capital.
