The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued an update on vaccination requirements for domestic pilgrims.
All Saudi citizens and residents must receive the mandatory Meningococcal vaccine to participate in Hajj.

“For a safe and healthy Hajj 1446H, ensure you have received the Meningococcal vaccine (mandatory) and completed all recommended vaccinations for domestic pilgrims,” the ministry stated on social media.
Additionally, the Saudi Ministry of Health has updated health requirements for Hajj 2025 to enhance preventive care, improve medical services, and ensure the well-being of pilgrims.
The new guidelines focus on health fitness, vaccinations, preventive measures, and general health protocols for both pilgrims and seasonal workers, aiming to provide a safe and smooth Hajj experience.
