Saudi Arabia announces to give $240 Million to Pakistan

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has announced a $240 million contribution to Pakistan’s multipurpose Mohmand Dam project.

The agreement was signed by SFD CEO Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad and Federal Secretary Ministry of Economic Affairs Dr Kazim Niaz, while Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki was also present.

According to the press release, the dam would significantly improve the country’s energy security, increase sustainable water supply for agriculture and human consumption, and improve flood resilience.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
