Samsung Quietly Launches Affordable Galaxy A05 and A05s

Although pricing information hasn’t been officially disclosed, it is anticipated that these phones will be affordably priced, especially considering that the Galaxy A04 is still available in Pakistan for around Rs. 32,000.

With regards to their specifications:

Both of these new phones feature 6.7-inch LCD displays. The Galaxy A05 comes with an HD+ resolution, while the A05s boasts a crisper 1080p resolution. In terms of the front camera setup, the A05s incorporates a 13MP front-facing camera discreetly positioned within a waterdrop notch, whereas the A05 is equipped with an 8MP front camera.

In the camera department, both phones share a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. However, the A05s distinguishes itself with the inclusion of an additional 2MP macro shooter designed for close-up photography.

The most notable disparity lies in the choice of chipsets: the A05s is driven by the Snapdragon 680, while the A05 utilizes MediaTek’s Helio G85. Both phones are generously equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

On the software front, they operate on OneUI Core, built on the foundation of Android 13. Furthermore, both phones are furnished with 5,000 mAh batteries and support 25W fast charging.

As previously mentioned, pricing details are yet to be disclosed, but it is expected that these phones will likely be priced under Rs. 40,000 in Pakistan.
