Tecno New Phone Shifts Screen To Back Position

Today, Tecno unveils the Phantom Ultimate concept phone, featuring a unique sliding screen that seamlessly expands the display from 6.55 to 7.11 inches in just 1.2 to 1.3 seconds. This second concept device resembles the Vision V model but lacks folding.
Controlled by a single motor, it offers user-friendly screen expansion via an upper right button press. Additionally, the inactive screen on the back acts as an Always On display for notifications. The 7.11-inch On-cell LTPO AMOLED display boasts 2,296 x 1,596 pixel resolution, 388 PPI, and full DCI-P3 color coverage.

Despite a 9.93mm base thickness, one-handed use is assured. While not entering the market, Tecno addresses potential limitations in rollable screen phone technology.
