They revealed Malti Marie’s face to the media and fans for the first time at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where the Jonas Brothers received their very own star. Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas attended the ceremony held in their honour with Priyanka, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas, reported Hindustan Times.

On the occasion, Priyanka wore a dark brown bodycon dress featuring a raised neckline and a midi-length hemline. The actor paired the attire with minimal accessories, including printed brown high heels, a sleek diamond ring, dainty bracelets, and double hoop earrings. Her little munchkin, whose full name is Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, looked delightful in an off-white tweed jacket-skirt styled with a cute headband. Pictures of the mother-daughter duo have been circulating online ever since.

Many of them see the Quantico star’s daughter, who celebrated her first birthday earlier this month, perched on her mother’s lap. Priyanka and Nick welcomed Malti via surrogacy last year.

Malti has appeared in Priyanka’s earlier posts, but none of them have shown her face. One particular photo of Priyanka in which Malti had her back to the camera even caused controversy online. A user even went so far as to claim that she was using her daughter as “prop.” Many people also questioned why she needed to include her daughter in the photos if she didn’t want to show her face. However, Priyanka’s supporters stood by her and said that it was her “right and choice.”

Many continued to question why she chose surrogacy rather than giving birth herself. Priyanka has always dismissed the criticism, but recently stated in an interview with British Vogue, “I had medical difficulties. I’m really happy I was in a position to take this since it was a crucial step. You’ve never met me. You have no idea what I’ve gone through. Furthermore, you don’t have the right to invent any justifications for why I chose not to disclose my medical history. I’ve taken a lot of care to preserve this period of my life with my kid. since it isn’t just about my life. She owns it, too.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
