The campaign, scheduled for September, October, and November, aims to vaccinate all children under five in Balochistan to protect them from paralytic polio. This initiative comes in response to two newly reported polio cases in the province.

During a meeting at the CM Secretariat, Ayesha Raza Farooq discussed the upcoming campaign with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Quetta Division Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat, and Emergency Operation Centre Coordinator Inam Khan Mandokhail. They focused on strategies to prevent polio, ensure the success of the campaign, and address other related concerns.
