Central Executive Committee leader Raza Abbas stated they are ready to support Musadik Malik in implementing the deregulation policy but stressed the need for proper consultation. He also urged that deregulation should apply to the entire oil sector, not just fuel prices.

He further clarified that their association has no links with Abdul Sami Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association. He claimed their association is officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce, while asserting that the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association’s registration has been canceled.
