[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Yasir Arafat, a former cricketer, will be named the bowling and assistant coach of the men’s national team by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Sources claim that Arafat will lead the coaching staff in Mickey Arthur’s absence, who is likely to be named the team’s director.

It should be noted that because Arthur will continue to work full-time for English county team Derbyshire, he won’t always travel with the Pakistan team.

Arthur previously led the Pakistan team for three years, taking over in 2016.

However, following the team’s fifth-place finish in the 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, the PCB made the decision not to renew the contracts of Arthur and his support staff.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
