[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Jaxeri Automotive, Pakistan’s first indigenous electric car manufacturer, is set to introduce a fully-electric compact SUV in the country by 2025. The Chairman of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Muhammad Najeeb Haroon, visited the company’s local Research and Development (R&D) facility, where the progress on car manufacturing and the upcoming electric SUV was discussed.
Jaxeri aims to design and manufacture the SUV locally, with a targeted launch date of 2025.In addition to this, Jaxeri had previously unveiled the Nur-E 75 electric hatchback prototype in Pakistan in August 2022.
The prototype, developed by the US-based DICE Foundation, aimed to tap into the economy car market. The Nur-E 75 features a 107HP/200Nm single electric motor with a top speed of 127 Km/hr.

Its 35 KWh battery is claimed to offer a range of 200KM, with a regular charge time of 7-8 hours and a fast charge time of 2 hours. The commercial production of Nur-E 75 is expected to begin around Q4 2024, with a majority of its parts produced locally.However, the car prices are likely to be influenced by Pakistan’s economic conditions at that time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
