Pakistan is set to start their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign on February 7 at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Cricket Ground in Colombo, taking on the Netherlands. The 2009 champions have been drawn in Group A alongside India, USA, Netherlands, and Namibia. Their second match is scheduled against the United States on February 10 at SSC, followed by the highly anticipated clash against India at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on February 15. Pakistan will conclude their group stage fixtures against Namibia on February 18 at SSC.
The group stage of the tournament will run from February 7 to February 20. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage, which will take place from February 21 to March 1. In this stage, each team will face the other three teams in their group, with matches being played in Colombo and Pallekele.
Should Pakistan progress, the semi-final scheduled for March 4 will be hosted in Colombo instead of Kolkata, while the final on March 8 will also take place in Colombo rather than Ahmedabad. The second semi-final is set for March 5 in Mumbai. Pakistan will aim to carry their momentum from the group stage into the Super Eight and beyond, seeking to challenge for the T20 World Cup title once again.
