ICC Reveals Locations For T20 World Cup 2026

The ICC has sanctioned reserve days for the semi-finals and final of the 2024 T20 World Cup. Should the scheduled semi-final or final not proceed as planned, it will be rescheduled to the reserve day.

For group stage matches, completion will be recognized if a minimum of five overs are bowled during the second innings. In the knockout phase, matches will be deemed complete only if at least 10 overs are bowled in the second innings.

Additionally, during the latest ICC assembly, the qualification process for the 2026 T20 World Cup was endorsed. The tournament will feature 20 teams, with 12 teams earning direct qualification. India and Sri Lanka have been selected as joint hosts for the event in 2026.
