Pakistan generated $116.115 million by exporting 54,539 metric tonnes of seafood and related products during the first four months of fiscal year 2024-25, as per the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
This marked a 6.33% decline compared to $123.965 million earned during the same period of fiscal year 2023-24. Export volume also slightly decreased by 0.04%, falling from 54,562 metric tonnes in the previous fiscal year.

On a year-on-year basis, seafood exports rose by 12.78% in October 2024, reaching $46.009 million compared to $40.797 million in October 2023. Export volumes surged by 27.93%, climbing from 16,724 metric tonnes to 21,395 metric tonnes.
Month-on-month, seafood exports increased by 31.45% in October 2024 compared to $35 million in September 2024, with export volumes growing by 35.57% from 15,781 metric tonnes. Meanwhile, overall food exports rose by 21.73% during the first four months of FY2024-25.
