Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, have received a ₹850 crore legal notice over claims about Kaur’s stage 4 cancer recovery through a “special diet.” The Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS) has demanded evidence within seven days, alleging the statements are misleading and harmful.
Dr. Kuldeep Solanki, the CCS convener, criticized the claims, stating they could undermine confidence in allopathic medicine and risk patients’ lives by encouraging them to abandon treatment prematurely.

The notice requests an apology and clarification from both Sidhu and Kaur, warning of legal action otherwise.
