NADRA Launches Mobile App, Announces New Regional Offices
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has unveiled the launch of a dedicated NADRA mobile app and announced the establishment of three new regional offices in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The move marks a significant shift in service delivery as the Pak-ID website will be discontinued, and all NADRA services will now be accessible through the mobile app. This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis.

Improved Accessibility Through NADRA Mobile App
The minister highlighted that users previously struggled with uploading fingerprints and other required documents via the Pak-ID website. To eliminate these issues, the revamped mobile app now enables citizens to complete their ID card applications, POC, B-forms, and FRCs from the convenience of their homes.
This improvement also addresses security concerns, as fraudulent activities involving fake identity documents through counterfeit websites had been reported. Strict measures are being implemented in collaboration with other institutions to counter such illegal practices.
New Regional Offices by March 31
To enhance service delivery in underserved regions, the new NADRA regional offices in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to be fully operational by March 31. These offices aim to streamline services and ensure better accessibility for residents in remote areas.
Additionally, the minister announced plans to establish NADRA offices in all tehsils across the country by the same deadline. With only 19 tehsils left uncovered, the initiative will further strengthen NADRA’s presence nationwide.
A Leap Towards Digital Transformation
This development reflects NADRA’s commitment to leveraging technology for citizen convenience. By transitioning to the mobile app, the authority is paving the way for faster, safer, and more user-friendly identity document services, ensuring greater inclusivity for all Pakistanis.
