Reports indicate that the unknown illness has caused symptoms such as high fever, headaches, fatigue, and stomach pain among those affected.
Egyptian TV host, Amr Adib, brought attention to the situation, revealing that hundreds of people in Qena have been infected, prompting the Ministry of Health and Population to take immediate action. The Egyptian Ministry of Health reported that approximately 250 individuals from the village of al-Aleqat in Qena governorate have exhibited symptoms of the unidentified disease.
