Sindh Government to Disburse Salaries, Pensions Before Eid-ul-Fitr
KARACHI – The Sindh government has announced that salaries and pensions for its employees will be disbursed before Eid-ul-Fitr, with payments scheduled for March 21.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Finance Department, the move aims to facilitate government employees in making preparations for the upcoming religious festival.

Eid-ul-Fitr Expected Date
As per SUPARCO (Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission), Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 31. However, if Ramazan completes 30 days, Eid will be observed on April 1 (Tuesday). The final decision will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee based on moon sighting observations.
This initiative follows past practices where governments ensure early salary disbursements to ease financial planning for employees ahead of major Islamic celebrations.
