She shared pictures of their visits to various picturesque locations on her official Instagram account, showcasing not just the natural landscapes but also Nepal’s famous cuisine and beverages. While many of her followers appreciated the posts, a significant number expressed disapproval of her bold attire. Some users commented that Pakistani actresses have lost their sense of modesty, questioning why they are admired. Others stated that Imam’s choice of clothing broke their hearts, leading them to unfollow her on Instagram.

Madiha Imam made headlines last year when she surprised fans with her marriage to Indian filmmaker and producer Moji Basar. Basar, who has worked on popular Bollywood films such as ‘The Sick’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’ as an assistant producer, has been a supportive partner in Imam’s career. Imam gained recognition for her role in the 2017 Bollywood film ‘Dear Maya,’ alongside Manisha Koirala, who played her mother.
Despite the current backlash, Imam continues to enjoy her time in Nepal.
