The spokesperson for K-electric clarified that electricity supply in Karachi remains consistent, denying any unannounced load shedding. According to the spokesperson, load shedding is carried out as per the schedule available on the company’s website, and any disruptions should not be attributed to load shedding but rather to regional faults.

The spokesperson emphasized that the occurrence of load shedding is influenced by the rate of power theft and losses in the area.

Meanwhile, a heatwave persists across many regions of the country, particularly in southern districts, as per the latest Meteorological Department forecast. The weather forecast indicates a blend of hot and humid conditions, with sporadic rainfall expected in some areas.

Southern districts, including Karachi, are grappling with intense heatwave conditions, with temperatures reaching extreme levels. While coastal areas are experiencing hot and humid weather, there is a slight chance of drizzle along the coastline, offering minimal relief.
