A lecturer from Islamia University has been arrested for allegedly harassing and blackmailing a female student.
According to police, the arrest follows a complaint filed by the student.

The FIR indicates that the lecturer sent inappropriate messages and explicit videos to her via WhatsApp.
The complaint also states that the lecturer threatened to fail the student in her exams and expel her from the university if she refused to enter into an illicit relationship. The police have formally charged and arrested the lecturer for harassment and blackmail.
