The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is developing a large-scale parking facility at the Pak Secretariat to address long-standing parking challenges faced by government employees and visitors.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa recently inspected the site and received a progress update from Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza.

Spanning roughly 133,729 square feet, the parking plaza is designed to accommodate over 1,000 vehicles simultaneously. It aims to benefit not only Pak Secretariat staff but also personnel and visitors from nearby government offices.
Chairman Randhawa described the project as a key move toward tackling Islamabad’s urban planning issues. He praised it as a model of CDA’s dedication to enhancing public infrastructure and daily convenience.
Officials informed him that construction is advancing in all parts of the site at once to ensure faster completion, reflecting CDA’s emphasis on timely and efficient project delivery.
