Imran Khan Summoned On Sept 25 For Alleged Illegal Marriage Case

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In Islamabad, Imran Khan, the former prime minister and chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party, has received a summons from a civil court. This summons pertains to his marriage with Bushra Bibi. Khan, currently detained at Attock Jail, must appear in court on September 25, as ordered by Civil Judge Qudratullah.

Additionally, the court has instructed staff to issue a production order addressed to the Superintendent of Attock Jail.

Earlier this year in May, a district and sessions court in Islamabad dismissed an appeal related to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s marriage, deeming the application “inadmissible” and outside its jurisdiction. However, in July, a separate Islamabad court reversed the civil court’s decision.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
