Pakistan’s all-rounder Imad Wasim has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup match against the USA due to discomfort in his right rib cage during a training session last week, prior to the fourth T20I against England.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) promptly sent him for a precautionary scan and rested him for the final match against England to ensure he could be fit for the T20 World Cup in the USA and the Caribbean in June.

A PCB medical panel recommended the scan and has been closely monitoring Imad’s condition to ensure his readiness for the T20 World Cup.

The medical team is optimistic about his recovery and is taking all necessary steps to ensure he is match-fit for the first T20 World Cup match against hosts USA.
