Hot, Dry Weather Expected Across Pakistan with Isolated Rainfall

The Meteorological Department has forecasted that the majority of the country will experience hot and dry conditions, though isolated areas, including Islamabad, parts of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, may see rainfall and thunderstorms. In Islamabad and nearby regions, partly cloudy skies are expected, with occasional rain and thunderstorms, offering some relief from the heat.

Sindh will continue to face hot and dry weather across most districts, with no significant rainfall predicted for the province.

Similarly, in Punjab, most districts will remain hot and dry. However, rain accompanied by thunderstorms is anticipated in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Sargodha, which may help alleviate the intense heat in these areas.

The Met Office also expects gusty winds and thundershowers in parts of northeast Punjab, the Potohar region, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan, with intermittent rain providing brief relief from the heat. Rain is also forecasted in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Hafizabad.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, districts such as Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Mardan, and Peshawar are expected to experience rain along with strong winds and thunderstorms. Additionally, rain and thunderstorms are predicted in Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan.

Balochistan will remain mostly dry, with hot weather persisting across most districts. For Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy conditions with strong winds and occasional thunderstorms are expected in some areas.
