Here is How ‘ElonJet’ back on social media

The ‘ElonJet’ account has surfaced on Threads, with the first post announcing that “ElonJet has arrived to Threads!”

ElonJet, a suspended Twitter account that tracked and reported on the activities of billionaire Elon Musk’s private jet, is now accessible on Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter competitor Threads, where it has already attracted thousands of followers after only a few hours of use.

ElonJet’s founder, Jack Sweeney, posted on Threads to announce his arrival, saying, “ElonJet has arrived to Threads!”

Sweeney, who tracks Musk and other affluent and powerful people using aeroplane data that is in the public domain, was kicked off the platform.

Everything started when a stalker tracked Elon Musk’s 2-year-old son by accident using Sweeney’s ElonJet Twitter account’s location data, even blocking and climbing the car’s roof.

Musk tweeted about the event. “Last night, a car carrying lil X in LA was followed by a crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked the car from moving & climbed onto the hood,” Musk said.

Elon Musk was incensed by the incident and quickly deleted the ElonJet account from Twitter. He reportedly threatened legal action against Sweeney, who is still a college student and attends the University of Central Florida to study information technology.

Within a week of its inception, Threads, a Meta-owned platform that was created as a Twitter rival, had rapid growth, reaching close to 100 million users.

Numerous celebrities have joined the platform, including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Stephen Curry, Oprah Winfrey, and Shakira.

The CEO of Meta even called out the company in a recent tweet that read: “competition is fine, cheating is not.” Musk, who is undoubtedly incensed by Meta’s introduction of a Twitter-like programme, has launched a lawsuit against Meta.
