HEC Introduces CPEC-Themed Photography Competition

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has unveiled a nationwide photography competition with cash prizes totaling up to Rs. 100,000. This announcement was disseminated through HEC’s social media channels.

**Eligibility**:
The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers, without any age restrictions. All individuals are encouraged to showcase their photography skills.

**Theme**:
The photography contest centers on the theme of ‘CPEC projects and their significant impact on Pakistan’s economy, infrastructure, and environment.’ Entrants are tasked with capturing the excellence of CPEC projects across the nation.

**Prizes**:
A total of 10 prizes will be awarded to participants. The first prize of Rs. 100,000 will be granted to a single individual. Additionally, three participants will receive second prizes of Rs. 80,000 each, while six photographers will be honored with third prizes of Rs. 50,000 each.

**Submission Process**:
To compete for the cash prizes, participants are required to send their photos in JPG format to [email protected]. Submissions should include a scanned copy of the entrant’s CNIC or passport and contact details. Each photograph must be accompanied by the photographer’s name and email address. It is essential to label the email subject line with “My Photo.”

**Deadline**:
The deadline for photo submissions for the competition is October 9, 2023.
