Local mills, according to sources, are unable to meet current flour demand, exacerbating the situation in Hazara Division. Murtaza Javed Abbasi, the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, has been informed of the situation.

According to sources, prominent Hazara Division dealers were unable to obtain flour from Punjab after Ramazan ended. Furthermore, checkpoints are being used to halt vehicles transporting flour from Punjab to Hazara, causing the price of a 20-kilogram flour bag to exceed Rs3,000.
As a result, the general public bears the brunt of the burden and is forced to purchase flour under duress. The daily sale of 5,000 flour bags has become customary in Haripur, though inventory remains limited due to the Ramazan ban on flour sales after the end of Ramazan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
