Anticipated to be completed within 90 days, this project will significantly improve travel convenience for the city’s 600,000 residents.
The undertaking involves the construction of a 58.1-kilometer-long road, including two flyovers, which will connect Gujranwala with an interchange near Mooramanabad. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gujranwala, Fayyaz Aslam, has assured that the motorway will remain accessible during the construction phase and that the project will be expedited.

This development is hailed as a significant milestone for Gujranwala, as the city is presently not directly linked to the motorway. The new link will offer residents faster and more convenient access to various parts of the country, ultimately fostering economic growth in the region.
