Addressing an event, the governor expressed concern over the rise in street crime in Karachi, attributing it to individuals under the influence of alcohol who show disregard for others’ lives. He also urged for the closure of shops selling alcohol to Muslims.
Tessori disclosed that he had written to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, urging action against the escalating street crime, noting an increase in the influence of criminals from the Kaccha area in the city.

He mentioned the implementation of principles akin to a state governed by Islamic law (Riyasat-e-Madniah) at the Governor House, including making the house’s bank accounts interest-free and facilitating arrangements for five daily prayers.
Furthermore, he outlined plans for establishing a university to accommodate 50,000 students for IT education.
