Former PTI Leader Fawad Chaudhry Arrested In Islamabad

A prominent politician and former federal minister, Fawad Chaudhry, was reportedly apprehended, as confirmed by his family on Saturday.

According to Fawad’s brother, law enforcement authorities detained the former PTI leader at his residence in the country’s federal capital. The family expressed their lack of information about Fawad Chaudhry’s current whereabouts and the nature of the case leading to his arrest.

Hiba Chaudhry, the wife of former Imran Khan’s close associate, also made a statement on social media, informing that Fawad Chaudhry had been arrested and moved to an undisclosed location.

This incident marks the second time the outspoken politician has been detained. He was initially arrested earlier this year after openly criticizing the former government for allegedly planning to detain Imran Khan.
