[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Saturday, Najeeb Haroon, a founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former MNA from Karachi, declared his decision to join Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
Haroon held meetings with key party figures, including convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, and Mustafa Kamal. The confirmation of Haroon’s shift to MQM-P was announced by senior leader Faisal Sabzwari through his official social media account.
In a separate development on Friday, MQM-P observed a notable shift as leaders Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate decided to align themselves with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in anticipation of the upcoming general elections on February 8.

Following a meeting with former president and PPP’s co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, in Karachi, the two ex-MQM members formally joined PPP.
Zardari extended a warm welcome to Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate into the PPP fold.
During the discussions, the politicians delved into matters related to the ‘charter of Karachi,’ emphasizing development, peace, security, and the creation of a conducive environment in the city.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
