Five Foreigners Unharmed In Karachi Suicide Attack

In a recent incident in Karachi’s Landhi area, five foreign nationals survived a suicide attack targeting their vehicle. The assault took place in Mansehra Colony and resulted in the deaths of two terrorists, according to local police reports. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Malir, Tariq Mastoi, confirmed the event was a suicide attack which also damaged another nearby vehicle.

During the attack, gunfire ensued, causing injuries to three individuals. Among the injured were Noor Muhammad and Langar Khan, both 45 years old and security guards tasked with protecting the foreign travelers. The identities of the deceased attackers have yet to be determined.

Authorities discovered motorcycles near the severely damaged front of the foreigners’ vehicle, indicating the proximity of the attackers at the time of the blast. The targeted van contained five foreign nationals who were unharmed and subsequently relocated to a secure location for their safety. The police neutralized one attacker at the scene, while the other, also a suicide bomber, was found with a vest and grenade.

Further investigations revealed a bag with grenades and an AK-47 at the site, suggesting preparation for a larger assault. The foreign nationals were employees at a local export processing zone. The police continue to investigate, and the bomb disposal squad has been dispatched to further assess the scene.
