FIA Reshuffle More Than 20 Officials

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has approved the transfer and posting of almost two dozen Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials.

On August 21, the investigative agency requested permission from the election commission to reshuffle 20 officers from BS18-20. The consent of the electoral body is required for any transfer when a caretaker administration is established in the country in order to organize elections.

The FIA has appointed Mujahid Akbar Khan (BS-20), Director FIA HQ, as additional director general (South), Karachi, Director Training FIA Academy as Director BMS, FIA HQ, and Director FIA Balochistan Zone Ehsan Manzoor as Director Training FIA Academy.

Imran Mehmood, Director Administration, Cyber Crime Wing Islamabad, has been promoted to Director FIA Balochistan Zone, Quetta, while Tariq Pervez has been promoted from director inspection & evaluation FIA HQ to director law (Operations) FIA HQ.

Lahore’s Additional Director of Implementation Monitoring Syed Shahid Hassan has been assigned to the administration Cyber Crime Wing in Islamabad.
