Pakistani journalist and TV anchor Farah Yousaf has dismissed rumors about her separation from husband Iqrarul Hassan.
Speculations about their relationship had been circulating on social media after users noticed that Farah’s profile name changed from “Farah Iqrar” to “Farah Yousaf.”
Responding to a follower’s question, Farah clarified that she uses her father’s name out of pride and respect. “The name ‘Yousaf’ represents my father’s identity, which is most precious to me. Sometimes I even consider updating my bio permanently to ‘Farah Yousaf,’” she explained.
Farah further mentioned that her older social media accounts still display her previous name due to verification limitations, not because of personal reasons.
Rejecting all separation claims, she stated, “There has been no separation between us. People just make up stories. Both names are important to me, and I respect them equally.” She urged her followers not to trust unverified reports and to ignore baseless rumors spread online.
