Two imposters, identified as Shegan Jamshed and Jamshed Khan, have been arrested for impersonating intelligence agency officers and blackmailing Senate officials. They confessed to extorting influential figures and luring people with false promises of government jobs.
Reports revealed the suspects were running a scam, offering Senate job appointments in exchange for money. A senior Senate officer’s complaint led to a case being registered at the Secretariat police station.

Inquiry Officer Muhammad Akbar disclosed that Shegan Jamshed, the son of a retired major, not only scammed officials but also fraudulently secured a Senate job for a female acquaintance. He was found using a fake Senate Secretariat agency card for personal gains.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) formally arrested the accused, linking them to another multi-million rupee fraud case. During a raid, FIA recovered six mobile phones, two laptops, a hard drive, fake documents, and photographs of the accused in army uniforms. The suspects also scammed citizens by pretending to clear customs shipments.
