With a total of over 128 million registered voters, the elections covered seats in the national and provincial legislatures. A significant number of seats were contested, including 265 in the National Assembly and 590 in provincial assemblies. The provincial assemblies included 51 seats in the Balochistan Assembly, 128 out of 130 seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 296 out of 297 seats in the Punjab Assembly, and 130 seats in the Sindh Assembly.

Despite PML-N’s overall performance in the elections, with Maryam Nawaz securing victory in NA-119, the political landscape is dynamic, and the party’s position may influence broader discussions on forming a coalition government. The elections have set the stage for potential collaborations and negotiations among winning candidates and political parties to address the challenges facing Pakistan.
