Mohammad Hafeez, a cricket player, is returning to school to finish his studies.

Whoever said you couldn’t follow your goals or get a new degree as you got older was completely wrong. Take a cue from Mohammad Hafeez, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, who has chosen to continue his studies by aiming for a degree in the department of Health, Physical Education, and Sports Science at the University of Karachi.

The former captain has registered in the department of Health, Physical Education, and Sports Science and will start his studies this year, according to the university’s public relations team. At the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, the cricketer also had meetings with Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi and Associate Professor Dr. Basit Ansari, who is also the department’s chairman.

The Professor, a former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, announced his retirement from international play in January. He continued to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and other cricket leagues, though. He left the Lahore Qalandars last season, and it is still unknown which team he will represent in the league this year. The first game of PSL season 8 is between the Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars on February 13 in Multan.
