Cotton Arrivals Drop by Almost 60% in September

Cotton arrivals in Pakistan have decreased by 59 percent year-on-year as of September 30, according to data from the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA).

This year, total cotton arrivals reached 2.040 million bales, significantly lower than the 5.025 million bales reported during the same period last year.

A breakdown of the figures shows that Sindh contributed 1.313 million bales, reflecting a 56 percent decline from the previous year. In Punjab, arrivals dropped by 65 percent to 0.727 million bales, while Balochistan reported 58,133 bales.
