A tragic car bomb explosion on the outskirts of Manbij, northern Syria, on Monday resulted in the deaths of 14 women and one man, with 15 other women suffering injuries, according to Syria’s civil defense. The victims were all agricultural workers, highlighting the human cost of the ongoing conflict in the region.
The attack, which has not yet been claimed by any group, comes just days after a similar explosion in central Manbij. On Saturday, another car bomb killed four civilians and injured nine others, including children, further exacerbating the violence in the area.

Manbij, located approximately 30 km south of the Turkish border and west of the Euphrates River, has been a focal point of violence for years, as the region continues to experience instability due to the ongoing Syrian conflict.
