The intra-party elections for PTI were conducted in compliance with the directives of the Election Commission of Pakistan. Initially, the PTI spokesman kept details such as polling information, names of other candidates, and the location undisclosed. It was later revealed that the polling took place in Peshawar’s Ranogarhi, with reportedly 500 electors participating in the election process.

The PTI Chief Election Commissioner informed local media that the elections were conducted according to the party’s rules of 2020, revised in 2022. He stated that party members cast their votes for the entire panel.

Last month, Pakistan’s top electoral watchdog annulled the intra-party polls of Imran Khan’s led party held in June the previous year, deeming them objectionable. The Election Commission gave PTI a 20-day ultimatum to conduct fresh polls, warning of the potential loss of the party’s election symbol.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
