Banks In Pakistan To Remain Close For Three Days

In commemoration of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, the caretaker government has announced an extended weekend in Pakistan. The central bank has declared a bank holiday on Monday, followed by the regular weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The State Bank of Pakistan will be closed on December 25, 2023 (Monday) in observance of the public holidays for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, as declared by the Government of Pakistan, according to an official statement.
