The left-arm pacer had a reserve price of £100,000, while Rauf had a reserve price of £60,000 when he entered the draught.

Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, who also entered the draught with a reserve price of £100,000, didn’t find any takers.

On Wednesday, the Hundred organising committee held a fan poll to determine which cricketer is most popular among the vast pool of cricket fans for this year’s draught. Babar topped the charts after bagging 25% of audience votes. However, The Hundred franchises were not of the same mind, and Babar remained unsold for another year.

In last year’s draught as well, Babar was not picked as the tournament clashed with Pakistan’s international commitments. Babar was listed at the reserve price of £125,000.

Meanwhile, Oval Invincibles have selected Multan Sultans’ pacer, Ihsanullah, for £40,000.

Last month, Pakistan all-rounder, Shadab Khan, was retained for £100k by Birmingham Phoenix. Shadab will play for Phoenix alongside international players such as Moeen Ali, Chris Woekes, and Liam Livingstone.

The competition will begin in August. Last year, Trent Rockets won the men’s competition after defeating Manchester Originals in the final.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
