Babar Azam rises in ICC Test Ranking

Pakistan’s all-format skipper is now just one spot behind Kane Williamson, Steve Smith, and Joe Root, who continue to hold the top three spots in the newest rankings.

The former New Zealand captain leads the rankings with 883 points, the former Australia captain is second with 859 points, and Joe Root is third with 842 points.

Record: Babar Azam and Joe Root have scored the most centuries since 2021.

The Lahore-born cricketer climbed up to fourth place with 829 points after scoring just 76 runs in the recently finished Test series against Sri Lanka.
