Asia Cup 2023: Begins on August 30th

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The timetable for the 2023 Asia Cup, jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, has been unveiled, with the tournament scheduled from August 30 to September 17. The opening match will see Pakistan taking on Nepal in Multan, played in the fifty-overs format, featuring six teams divided into two groups.

Group A comprises Pakistan, India, and Nepal, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. The tournament will follow a hybrid model, with Pakistan hosting four matches at two venues and Sri Lanka hosting the remaining games.

The highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 2 in Kandy. After the six group-stage matches, the Super 4s will begin on September 6.

The final will be contested by the top two teams from the Super 4s on September 17 in Colombo.
