On Saturday evening, Dr. Arif Alvi, in his final message as the 13th President of Pakistan, expressed gratitude for the honor of serving the nation. He took to a social media platform, mentioning it as his last post on the account created by him in August 2018. In his message, President Alvi sought forgiveness for any shortcomings and prayed for divine rewards for his good deeds, joined by his wife @Saminalvi. The departing president expressed confidence in the country’s brilliant future.
It has been an honor to serve the people of Pakistan.
May Allah forgive me for my shortcomings and reward me for the good deeds I may have done. @Saminalvi joins me in this prayer. We have no doubt that a brilliant future awaits our country.

President Alvi also announced the transfer of control of the official @PresOfPakistan handle to the incoming 14th President. Earlier, as part of his departure, President Alvi donated books from his personal library, marking the conclusion of his term in office.
