A local court has granted interim pre-arrest bail to YouTuber Ali Hyderabadi in a case filed over allegations of assault made by his former wife. The relief will remain in effect until July 14, with the court directing police not to arrest him during this period.
An additional sessions judge approved the interim bail application and instructed Ali Hyderabadi to fully cooperate with the investigation. The court also ordered him to appear before the investigating officer whenever required and directed all parties to attend the next hearing.
The case was registered after a complaint was lodged by Ali Hyderabadi’s former wife, who accused him of physical assault. Following the registration of the case, the social media personality approached the sessions court seeking protective bail to avoid arrest while legal proceedings continue.
The dispute attracted significant attention online after a livestream surfaced on social media in which Ali Hyderabadi publicly divorced his wife. During the broadcast, he stated that he did not wish to see her again, a clip that quickly went viral across various platforms.
Soon afterward, his former wife, Zainab Ali, released a video in which she appeared visibly emotional and was seen with bandages on one of her hands. In the video, she alleged that she had experienced physical violence and emotional abuse throughout the last three years of their marriage. She also appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to intervene and help her obtain justice.
In response to the allegations, Ali Hyderabadi issued a separate video statement while holding a copy of the Holy Quran. He strongly denied all accusations, calling them false, baseless, and misleading. He maintained that he had not committed the acts alleged against him.
Zainab Ali later rejected his response in another video, insisting that the couple had already finalized their divorce. She further accused Ali Hyderabadi of misleading women by forming relationships in pursuit of fame and with the intention of entering another marriage.
The allegations remain under investigation, and no court has determined the merits of the claims. The interim bail only provides temporary protection from arrest while the legal process continues. Further proceedings are scheduled for July 14, when the court is expected to review the case again.
