[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A five-day special polio campaign was launched on Monday by the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa administration in seven districts of the province.
The districts of Nowshera, Peshawar, Mohmand, Hangu, Khyber, Kohat, and Charsadda will also participate in the campaign.
Polio doses will be given to more than 2.212 million kids, according to a health department official.

In the same way, 107,000 kids will receive polio drops in the special union councils on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border as well as in the Afghan refugee camps of Buner, Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Mansehra, Malakand, Mardan, and Swabi.
The official stated that 8441 teams, including mobile, fixed, and transit teams, had been organised for the five-day campaign.
He said that 14,926 police officers had been deployed for the security of polio workers as part of the government’s security preparations.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
