At least three people were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle on Town Road in Peshawar, officials said on Tuesday. The attack occurred in a busy area, triggering panic among residents and motorists. Police said the assailants fled the scene immediately after the shooting, creating fear and confusion.
According to initial police reports, the victims were travelling in a private vehicle when they were ambushed by armed attackers. Witnesses said multiple gunshots were heard, forcing nearby shopkeepers to close shutters while people ran for safety. Rescue officials confirmed that all three victims died on the spot due to critical bullet wounds. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal procedures.
